It is fitting that Tom McRae enjoys Chateau Brun wine. McRae is a talented singer and songwriter famous throughout Europe. And while he has released 5 albums, toured with famous artists, sold out shows across Europe and had his music featured in popular US television shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Rescue Me and Without a Trace, he is largely an unknown in the US except among true music buffs. The same can be said about Chateau Brun, a small family run Chateau in St-Emilion, Bordeaux. The wine is well made by a family with a true passion for wine and is enjoyed and known in many parts of France, but sadly overlooked on the US market. Worth seeking out if you have an opportunity. Note that it is also bottled as "Chateau Beau Vallon" for the US market.
