Cookbook author and memoir editor Brigit Binns drives coast to coast twice each year, cooking along the way. When her friend Julie Benz (Rita on Showtime's "Dexter" and Darla on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" among many other roles) called and asked her to come cook, she hopped on a plane to LA. So why mention it here? Take a close look at the photo and you'll see 4 bottles of wine on the table - 2 white and 2 red. No great meal is complete without plenty of wine to go around, and it would seem that Julie and Brigit agree! From this tiny picture it appears that the two white wines featured were Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and Clos du Bois Chardonnay. My eyesight's just not good enough to read the labels on the reds. But 4 bottles of wine and about 6 people doesn't seem like too bad of a ratio to me!
