It would seem that in Hollywood holding a wine glass by the stem just doesn't make for good viewing, as nobody ever seems to do it. While most grab the bowl of the glass, thus heating the wine and making it taste like crap, Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) has the foresight to grab it by the top. This way he can avoid warming the wine with his hand while ensuring he doesn't have to look silly while holding a glass stem. Because drinking through your fingers looks so much manlier.
It all proves too much for House, as he leaves in a huff. Wilson's ex-wife Sam (played by Cynthia Watros, in her best roll since "The Drew Carey Show") seems to find in humorously charming.
We never get a clean shot of the front label, so aside from it being red, I'm at a loss as to what they're drinking. Anybody recognize the red/maroon label?
