The writers of American Dad clearly have a high opinion of Wine Spectator magazine.
Somebody at Fox clearly is not a big fan of Wine Spectator. During this episode of American Dad, Stan Smith gets addicted to crack. One of his trips turns into a pharmaceutical advertisement, complete with fine print at the bottom of the screen. The narrator hits on some pretty heinous possible side effects, and right when he gets to: "people who use crack may experience 5 - 7 years in prison where brutal raping may occur," the fine print at the bottom of the screen pops up with "See our ad in Wine Spectator."
I missed it the first time and we had to rewind to make sure it had really happened. Only funny part in the whole episode.
