(pairing food with pinot grigio)
The Italian name for Pinot Gris. The Italian version is generally grown in large quantities and is fairly neutral with light fruit flavors of green apple and lemon/lime. Crisp and refreshing on a hot day.
This is a great wine to pair with all of your delicate dishes like white fish, shellfish, pasta and boiled chicken. In moderate amounts wine can be beneficial to your health, so if you're eating bland foods for diet reasons, toss in a glass of Pinot Grigio to bring it all home!
