NCAA® March Madness® and Wine

Wake Forest and 2008 Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc

Wake Forest breakdown - A young team with loads of talent all over the court - from the small but crafty Jeff Teague to forwards Al-Farouq Amino and James Johnson (two sophomores and a freshman) - the Demon Deacons should be able to put a lot of points on the board and grab victories. But they'll need to avoid the woes of their late January/early February slump, where they lost to one of the ACCs weakest teams, Georgia Tech, and put up only 52 points with abysmal 31% shooting in a loss against Miami.

2008 Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc - Some wines are made to age and some wines are meant to drink young. Coming from the Southern Hemisphere this is always one of the first wines to be released every year. The 2008 Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc is fresh, vibrant and classy. Goes well with a whole range of foods, but is also perfect for just kicking back and getting the job done. The cork is popped and the wine is gone on this little baby before any of the musty old wines know that the game is on.
