Oklahoma and 2006 Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon

Oklahoma breakdown - Despite struggling as the season concluded, Oklahoma has the skills to make a solid run at a national championship. Baring an abysmal performance, Blake Griffin is a likely candidate for national player of the year honors. He is a force to be reckoned with on a team with some other overlooked talent, including freshman Willie Warren and senior Austin Johnson who average a combined 7 assists per game and will both be asked to feed Blake the ball. Warren will also need to hit jump shots to force opponents out of the double team on Griffin.

2006 Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon - This wine is good. It's that simple. Juicy, balanced and approachable now, but with the body and tannins to age several more years should you feel the desire. This wine's secret is similar to that of Oklahoma's dominance. While Griffin is clearly the leader, he gets supported consantly by the rest of his team. In this wine the Cabernet Sauvignon plays the major role (90%) but just a splash of Syrah (10%) adds enough spice and body to bring it to that next level.
