NCAA® March Madness® and Wine

Oklahoma State and 2007 Neyers Chardonnay

Oklahoma State breakdown - The Oklahoma State Cowboys are fast becoming a tough team. Maybe the fire that propels coach Travis Ford has sparked a pseudo-Napoleonic complex in his team but, whatever the cause, their (relatively) diminutive stature hasn't kept them from inviting contact and muscling inside when necessary. Point guard Byron Eaton doesn't hold back if he sees an open lane, and the Cowboys can count on points from most players on their team. We can count on an up tempo opening game Friday afternoon.

2007 Neyers Chardonnay - This is not your typical light, crisp, new-world cocktail wine. Oklahoma State has strength hidden behind their size, and this wine has richness hidden behind the pale yellow color. This is a powerful, full-bodied Chardonnay that packs a punch of ripe tropical fruit and rich oak.
