Northern Iowa and 2005 Ken Brown "A" Cuvee Syrah

Northern Iowa breakdown - Northern Iowa's starters know how to share the spotlight - all five have put up impressive scoring performances at some point during the season. But the Panthers have lacked consistency, starting the season 6 and 6 before posting 11 straight wins midseason, only to lose 4 of their next 5. Kwadzo Ahelegbe should be able to stand up to Purdue's physical style of play, but leading scorer Adam Koch's ability to do the same remains a question mark. Although 12 seed over 5 seed upsets have become a tournament tradition, this one will be a real challenge for the Panthers.

2005 Ken Brown "A" Cuvee Syrah - We once heard that there was nothing to do in Iowa but rodeo and drink beer. We'd like to add wine to that list, and the Ken Brown Syrah is a great start. From all outward appearances (and aromas) it is a giant, opulent and bold wine. However, underneath that power and glitz is a core of refined and balanced wine; much like the how the Panthers come on strong, but depend on the full team at the core to keep them going.
