Michigan State and 2007 Chateau Souverain Chardonnay

Michigan State breakdown - Michigan State won't just need to win games for their own sake; they also have the unwelcome task of defending the honor of the much maligned Big 10 conference. Coming off regular season wins over non-conference opponents like Kansas and Oklahoma State, the Spartans should be up to the task. But they'll need to shoot well, something they failed to do while hitting only 14% from beyond the arc in their recent loss to Ohio State. If Michigan State's guards manage to get the ball to Raymer Morgan and Goran Suton near the basket, things should open up for them outside.

2007 Chateau Souverain Chardonnay - Once the powerhouse and most desired of all California wines, the big toasty, buttery style of Chardonnay has fallen out of favor. Much like Michigan State must defend the honor of the Big 10, Chateau Souverain is up to the task of defending this style of Chard. Sure, it has plenty of oak and butter, but it's fruity and well balanced, and is a top quality value for your dollar.
