Thoughts: Simply put, this is delicious. Consistently a high-quality wine over the past several years, and the 2008 vintage follows suit. It drinks like a wine that is twice its price - an impressive feat for a $24 bottle. Lush with big fruit aromas and flavors, with an incredibly smooth, balanced and elegant feel in the mouth. Soft tannins make it easy to drink now, and the good dose of acid keeps the fruit juicy and light enough to pair with many types of food. Drink this wine when you're looking to impress some winos, or if you just want to give yourself a well deserved treat.
