83 / B-

Tasted by Mike Supple - 06 Jan 2009

Purple core with a lighter rim. Smoke and gravel waft from the glass, supported by darker blueberry and cherry fruit. Black licorice candy on the palate with some juicy black cherry and a touch of earth. Thick on the mid-palate with a light tannic grip on the back end. Decent, but not particularly well balanced.

85-87 / NA

Tasted by Mike Supple - 01 Apr 2008

Very solid ruby core and rim. Dusty aromas of gravel and clay with black cherry, blackberry and an herbal note. Sweet, soft entry. Dry tannins build on the edges, but leave the mid a little hollow. Decent fruit, but a bit short.

This wine is not yet released from the winery, thus it has no price or value grade.
