Dark purple core with a purple and pink rim. Aromas of candied red cherry and citrus zest float over notes of citronella and a touch of earth. As the wine opens, the fruit aromas expand, bringing rich sweet blueberry to the mix. Big in the mouth with nice chewy, dusty tannins. The sweet dark fruits on the front are joined by wet stone, light herbals and a hint of earth. The finish is long, with ripe cassis and red cherry flavors.
A well known classic Napa Cabernet, and a name people will recognize as a quality bottle of wine. Fine for dinner if your girlfriend’s dad is coming over. Otherwise, save your money.

Misleadingly light ruby and pink in the glass – this wine is a big fruity monster. Bright blueberry and cherry aromas with a light citrus zest. On the palate it is rich and full, with good acidity to keep it from getting cloying. Big candied blood orange flavors back ripe cherry and raspberry with a light earthy edge to the lingering fruit.
Grenache can be tricky to work with and finding a well made cheap one is always great. This is the perfect Valentine’s day gift for an ex…

Clear and bright in the glass with a medium lemon yellow core. Good intensity on the nose with ripe yellow apple, candied citrus and a touch of blue slate minerality. The palate presents the same rich ripe sweet yellow apple and pear up front with a nice moderate acidity keeping it crisp and clean. Honeyed notes and a touch of cream, candied lemon and some tropical pineapple and mango notes keep the mid-palate nice and round, and the wine finishes with a medium length of crisp bright fruit. A well made, enjoyable wine great for drinking over the next couple of years.

Clear and bright in the glass with a lemon yellow core. Very fragrant; bold honeysuckle florals with big lemon, lime and orange zest followed by a touch of sweet yellow pear. The acidity is bright yet balanced on the palate. The bold citrus continues, but is matched well by a smooth creamy pear note and a touch of vanilla on the finish.
The blend varies somewhat each year, but is generally Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Semillon.

Medium gold with a bright rim. The Riesling really lifts the aromas out of the glass giving a bright white flower nose with white licorice and sweet candied citrus peel. Dry and crisp entry onto the palate with apricot and yellow apple flavors. Nice acid and balance leading to a medium length finish. A fun little wine.
30% Chardonnay, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Riesling, 10% Pinot Grigio.

Bright lemon yellow color. Apricot and ripe yellow pear aromas are followed by sweet vanilla oak. The front of the palate is dominated by peach, and the oak is much more subdued. Apricot joins the peach with a touch of citrus. Good acidity and medium-bodied with a nice lingering fruit finish and a touch of cream.

Pale lemon yellow in color with a clear rim. Fresh ripe juice on the nose with big honeydew and candied citrus backed by a touch of crisp asparagus and flint. The palate entry is fresh and bright with Meyer lemon and sweet melon. A great spicy kick comes in on the mid-palate with a huge fresh jalapeno pepper pop lingering in to the finish. Outstanding spiciness throughout the wine with a flinty finish.
This wine is crisp and fresh, and perfect for a hot 4th of July celebration if you’re not a fan of beer. The ‘06 Arboleda combines some typical Sauv Blanc characteristics of grapefruit and lemongrass. Chile makes a lot of high quality wine at a good price. What makes this one particularly worth the money is the unique Jalepeno Pepper flavor. It sounds weird, but trust me, it’s there. It’s not a dominant flavor, but adds a really cool spicy hit to the fruit. Not overly complex, but well made and more than worth the money!

Very pale yellow with a water-white rim. Candied citrus aromas are marked by light flint. Fairly vigorous in the mouth with lively acid - this is a very young wine and needs much more time. Nice depth of fruit with an edge of rich toasted oak.
