Medium ruby core with a touch of garnet in the rim. Very perfumy with flowers and fresh herbs over darker charcoal and black cherry. Soft and round in the mouth with a nice lingering dark fruit finish. A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre.

Black and ruby core with a lighter rim. Sweet black licorice and black cherry over wet stone aromas. Medium bodied with dark flavors of stewed plums, cassis, dark anise and a hint of game.

Black core with a purple rim. Fresh baking spices, licorice and black cherry on the nose. Soft, velvety entry. Full on the mid-palate, but a bit short and tannic on the finish.

Inky and dark in the glass. Nutmeg over plum, black raspberry and a touch of spicy oak on the bold rich nose. Dark in the mouth with very fine tannins. Spicy black fruits are underscored by a streak of clay and minerals. Long intense finish.
Much care was taken in 2007 during harvest. The tiny 4 hectare plot was hand-picked between October 3 and October 18.

Dark ruby in the glass. Very spicy aromas of ginger, nutmeg and anise over crushed rose petals. Fresh and balanced on the palate with rich, spicy fruits and a lingering finish.

Bright, intense ruby color. Gorgeous fresh bright fruits. Big raspberry and black raspberry with just a touch of spice and minerality aromas. In the mouth it is like drinking fresh raspberry juice. Velvety with smooth tannins and nicely balanced structure. This Chateau has consistently impressed me over the past several vintages.

Dark and inky color. Beautiful aromas of violets with ripe, fleshy plum and boysenberry. Lush entry on the front, though the fruit falls short and gets a bit acidic on the finish.

Purple and ruby in the glass. Smoky with rich toasted black fruit aromas. Graphite and roasted black fruits on the palate. Somewhat acidic on the mid-palate, but bold and spicy with an anise kick on the finish.
